Best Taped Live Performance is awarded to an individual or ensemble whose live performance has been taped and broadcast on television during the previous television broadcast year.

Best Direction – Television Program or Series is awarded to a television director who has directed either a series or program (episode or special) in the previous television broadcast year.

Best Writing – Television Program or Series is awarded to a television writer or writers who have written a series or program (episode or special scripted for television) which was broadcast in the previous television broadcast year. Stand-up comedy specials are ineligible in this category.

Best Performance by a Male - Television is awarded to a male actor whose comedic performance in a television series or program aired for the first time in the previous broadcast year.

Best Performance by a Female -Television is awarded to a female actor whose comedic performance in a television series or program aired for the first time in the previous broadcast year.

Best Performance by a Ensemble - Television is awarded to an ensemble of two or more actors whose comedic performance in a television series or program aired for the first time in the previous broadcast year.
